You may recall that we applied for a 2009 Texas Parks and Wildlife Recreational Trail grant.  Over 75 Texas organizations submitted applications, resulting in the largest number of trail grant applications ever received.  There was fierce competition for the $3million with only 25 applications approved.  Unfortunately, our application was not one of the lucky ones; however, we will apply again in May 2010 if trail funds are available.
