The fourth annual Run the Line Half-Marathon is Sunday, February 20, 2011, in Texarkana, Texas and Arkansas. The race starts at 8:00am downtown at Broad Street and Stateline Avenue and will end back downtown on 3rd Street. This is a unique opportunity to run in one race that goes through two states. The course is relatively flat with a few long inclines and goes through both Cities of Texarkana with a short portion of the race on the Arkansas/Texas stateline. The race is primarily on asphalt and includes the Nix Creek Trail, the Phillip McDougal Trail in Spring Lake Park, and city streets with coning. The half-marathon includes 2-person relay teams. Electronic timing chips are provided for runners. After the race, we'll gather at the historic Hopkins Ice House on 3rd and Wood Streets for hamburgers and drinks for everyone who would like to join us.

Registration for the half marathon will start on October 1, 2010.
